What I bring

More than a finance function. A partner in the decisions that shape the business.

01
Strategy and capital
Where to play across APAC, what to fund and in what order. Investor and board story, capital allocation, M&A and partnerships.
02
Business partnering
A finance seat inside commercial decisions, not after them. Pricing, unit economics, customer and channel profitability, and the KPIs leadership runs on.
03
Built for scale
The structure, controls, team and systems you will need at 3-5x today's size, put in place before they become the constraint.

About me

{{ f.name }}
{{ f.role }}

Aseem has spent almost three decades in finance and operations across APAC, the last 15 based in Singapore. He is a Chartered Accountant who has repeatedly stepped beyond the finance seat to own the P&L and shape strategy alongside the CEO.

At eBay he held three roles: APAC FP&A and Business Analytics for a ~US$2B revenue region, CFO India/SEA, and later APAC Business Development (M&A). He built eBay's APAC Business Analytics team from scratch across five markets and took India through the ~US$750M Flipkart transaction. At Asendia he was employee #2, building the APAC finance, tax and HR platform for a ~€375M region. At Geodis he ran a loss-making road freight division himself and returned it to profit within 12 months. Across eBay, GE Healthcare and Geodis, he has worked on deals worth ~ US$1.5B.

Earlier, he was Finance Director for FedEx/TNT in India and Thailand, and held roles at GE Healthcare and AIG Investments. Today he is a fractional CFO and strategic partner to founders. He has built finance at every stage, from employee #2 to a US$2B region, and knows from the inside how international groups run their APAC businesses.

When to talk

Finance becomes the constraint before anyone notices.

The big decisions get made without financial oversight. The raise gets harder to defend. The new market sits on the wrong structure. Each quarter it waits, the fix gets bigger.

Best suited for venture- and PE-backed companies from Series A onwards, and international groups building or resetting their APAC business, whose leaders need a finance partner, not just a finance function.

Also: TNT Thailand hit its first-ever margin budget and broke even in year one. eBay Analytics added strong P&L value to the APAC business.
